Amphibians & Reptiles of the Pine Barrens

As spring begins these cold-blooded animals emerge from hibernation ready for activity. Frogs become the most obvious through their vocalizations calling for a mate. Snakes are often misunderstood by people as evidenced when developments encroach upon their habitat.
