Story Grove Read Aloud: Mighty Meadows

Come away with us for a fun and educational virtual trip to the Mighty Meadows!
Join Ms. Amy for August story times celebrating the Mighty Meadows, a habitat that has grasses, herbs, flowers and provides homes for many animals. Some of the critters you may meet there are butterflies, bees, goldfinches, hummingbirds, garter snakes, rabbits and mice. Ms. Amy will share stories about this amazing wonderland and some of the plants and animals that call it home. After the stories, she will share some follow – up activities and further reads.

You can sign up for both dates! The books and activities will be different for each event where you will also learn a little more about the long stretches of gorgeous meadows seen at Duke Farms.
About the Educator: Amy Miele is an elementary school librarian and educator in South Jersey. While her students usually call her Mrs. Miele, she prefers the term Library Pixie because her favorite thing is magically matching books to readers.
