Montgomery Municipal Building Progress Video
The construction of Montgomery’s new Municipal Building is making rapid progress near the corner of Route 206 and Orchard Road. Montgomery Mayor Devra Keenan has today released a video update for residents including drone footage and interviews with the building’s architect and construction manager. You’ll also see detailed architectural drawings that will allow you to imagine what the new municipal offices and library will be like to visit. The project remains on schedule for opening mid-2022. The municipal complex is partly funded by more than $5 million in New Jersey state grants 30-year, low-interest bonds. -
Love Where You Live
Beneath the surface of Montgomery Township’s bucolic appearance, rural and suburban lifestyles have successfully merged to create a truly cosmopolitan community. There is tremendous pride and action when it comes to preserving open spaces and protecting natural resources, attaining landmark status for its many historic structures and places, and carefully planning the development of its thriving community with excellent schools and diverse recreational opportunities. Located just outside of Montgomery Township is the small borough of Rocky Hill, a town rich in history with delightful rural surroundings. This two-minute video captures some of the establishments and activities we love most about Montgomery and Rocky Hill, including the annual Fourth of July Fireworks event that draws crowds from far and wide to the highly rated Montgomery Township High School to celebrate our nation’s independence as well as their devotion to their community.
